AI assistant: Ask what you want to know about your business.
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant answers plain-language questions about your sales, stock, returns, margins, customers and orders with figures taken from your own data, plus charts and Excel-ready tables. It works inside the web console, only reads, follows each user’s permissions and is enabled for your company through our sales team.

What you can ask the AI assistant
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant answers questions about your company’s operation and business. You write the question in your own words, and the assistant queries your data, writes a short answer and, when it helps, adds a bar, line or donut chart and a table you can download to Excel.
| Topic | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Sales | What you sold in a period, by day, week, month, channel, warehouse, category, brand or product; average ticket; best and worst sellers. |
| Orders | Orders by status, late against the dispatch deadline the channel reports, and pending orders with days unpacked. |
| Stock | Current stock by product or warehouse, low stock, days of coverage, and products with stock that don’t sell. |
| Returns | Units and amount returned, and return rate by product, category, brand, channel or warehouse. |
| Movements | Transfers between warehouses, inbound goods and shrinkage. |
| Custom crosses | Up to four figures by up to two dimensions, such as margin by brand and channel or return rate by category and month. |
Follow-up questions work like a conversation: after an answer you can ask “and by channel?”. Every answer says which date range it used and shows the data it used, so you can check where each figure comes from.

Sales comparisons and projections with the AI assistant
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant compares and projects with the system’s own calculations: the change, the percentage and the projection come already worked out; the AI doesn’t do the math.
- Year over year: this year over last, or the last three, month by month on a line chart, plus year-to-date and month-to-date against the same cut last year.
- Between periods: any period against the same dates last year or the previous period, as a total or by channel, category, brand, product or warehouse.
- Month close: sales up to yesterday plus the remaining estimate, with its likely range.
- Coming months and targets: up to 11 months ahead, total, by channel or by category, and whether the range reaches the target you give it.
How the projection is worked out
Each projected month is the same month last year times your typical growth over the last 12 months. The likely range comes from testing the method backwards on your own history, and the assistant tells you the measured error. With less than a year of history it uses an average and says so. It is an estimate: it doesn’t account for price, stock or campaign changes. On the chart, actuals are a solid line, the projection is dashed with its range shaded, last year is muted and a marker shows “Today”.

Products: what to push, what to clear and what will run out
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant crosses each product’s sales, margin, returns and stock to answer what’s worth pushing and what to clear.
Performance: by category, brand or product, sales, growth against last year, estimated gross margin at current cost, return rate, available stock with its value at cost, and days of stock.
What to clear: products with more stock than you sell in the window you choose (180 days unless you say otherwise), with the excess valued at cost.
What will run out: days of coverage per product at the recent pace; under 14 days is a stock-out risk.
Suggestions backed by data: when you ask what to do, the assistant first queries the data, then adds up to three points labelled “Possible cause” or “Suggestion”, each backed by a figure from the answer.

Customers: RFM analysis with the AI assistant
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant analyzes your customers with the RFM model: recency (when they last bought), frequency (how often they bought) and monetary value (how much they spent) over the last 24 months, using the same rule as the Customers screen.
- Your best customers: the RFM ranking, worked out when you ask, to see who bought most recently, most often and for the most.
- Segments: how many customers sit in each of the 11 segments, such as Champions or At risk, and how much they spend.
- New and returning: how many customers buy for the first time and how many come back, month by month.
- One customer in detail: a customer’s purchases, and follow-ups such as “and what did that customer buy?”.
Each customer’s name appears only on your screen: the model sees a reference. Customer data covers the whole company, as on the Customers screen, and requires that permission.
For example
- How many customers are at risk?
- Best customers who bought last month

Privacy and permissions of the AI assistant
It sees what the user sees: Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant requires the same permissions as the screen that already shows each piece of data (sales with Order status, stock with Stock, customers with Customers) and respects each profile’s warehouses. What a user can’t see, the assistant can’t query.
Your admin decides who uses it: the AI assistant permission is granted per profile.
Read-only: it never creates, changes, voids or deletes anything; every query runs read-only.
Your customers’ data doesn’t reach the model: its tools never pass your customers’ name, tax ID, email, phone or address to the model. The model sees a customer as a reference, and the name appears only on your screen.
No record of your questions: Ariadne logs each query’s usage, not the text of your questions, and the conversation clears when you reload the console.

How to get the AI assistant for your company
Ariadne WMS’s AI assistant is enabled for your company through our sales team. Once it’s on, it appears as a button in the web console’s top bar for the profiles your admin chooses, and it answers in the language you ask in.
- You write to us
- Our sales team enables it for your company
- Your admin chooses which profiles use it
Where does the AI assistant get its figures?
From your data in Ariadne WMS. For each question it queries your sales, stock or orders with read-only tools, and the system calculates changes and projections. Every answer shows the data it used and, if a figure had no backing, the console flags it.
Can it change data or do tasks for me?
No. It only reads: it answers and builds charts and tables, but never creates, changes, voids or deletes anything.
Can it see information my user can’t?
No. It uses your profile’s permissions and warehouses. Customer data covers the whole company, as on the Customers screen, and requires that permission.
How do I get the AI assistant?
Write to us: our sales team enables it for your company. Then your admin chooses which profiles use it.
Do I need to know data or formulas?
No. You write in your own words, for example “which products should I clear out?”, and the assistant picks what to query.
Let’s talk about your warehouse.
